A US family was hospitalized on Thursday after a chemical reaction with chlorine, a substance that was being handled.
According to international publications, it all happened in a suburb of Cleveland, and the victims, three adults and two children, were transported to hospital in a stable condition.
According to the international press, this is a substance that is often used to sanitize swimming pools, which is why the family was handling it.
The situation is, however, being investigated by the local authorities.
The international press also reports that from 2015 to 2017 there were around 13,000 similar situations in the United States, most of them involving children.
