The kings of England, Charles III and Camilla, were hastily removed from a visit to a farm in Jersey following a security problem that turned out to be a false alarm.
The visit to the outdoor exhibition event in St Helier was suddenly interrupted after a threat was detected. Members of the public were unaware of any problems and the couple were taken to a nearby hotel.
According to The Telegraph, there was a "small matter of concern" but, after an investigation, it turned out to be a false alarm.
After a short while, the couple left the hotel and resumed their visit.
