A man died after a fight in Badalona, Barcelona, Spain, after three individuals tried to steal the victim's mobile phone and one of them hit him on the head with a stick, causing a serious cut.
According to Telecinco, the incident took place on Sunday afternoon and the man was admitted in critical condition to Can Ruti hospital, where he died on Monday.
So far, the Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan police) have arrested one of the alleged attackers. However, it is not known whether the detainee is the perpetrator.
The Catalan police are continuing their investigation, both to clarify the exact circumstances of the incident and to find the other two people involved in the fight, which ended with the victim's death after an attempt to steal a mobile phone.
