Eugenio, 27, reportedly refused to change his bandage and leave the aircraft. The crew called the police.
A 27-year-old man with a bloodied head was arrested, along with his wife, at Miami International Airport in Florida, USA, on Tuesday, after he refused to get off an American Airlines flight bound for Las Vegas.
According to The Independent, Eugenio Ernesto Hernandez-Garnier boarded the plane with a large bandage on his head coming off and blood, as shown by his wife, Yusleydis Blanca Loyola, 32, on TikTok.
When the crew saw the state of the passenger's head - which looked like it had been the result of hair transplant surgery - they asked him to clean it and replace the bandage, which Eugenio refused to do.
In response, the plane's captain ordered him to disembark, as the injury could not only endanger Eugenio, but also contaminate the entire cabin.
Despite the order, the passenger remained seated. The woman, on the other hand, got carried away with the whole situation and started shouting in Spanish that the blood was dry.
The police were then called on board and the couple were forcibly removed from the aircraft, to the applause of the other passengers.
After being seen by a doctor, both Eugenio and Yusleydis were arrested
