Hezbollah Fires 320 Projectiles From Lebanon Towards Israel

The Israeli army announced today that the Lebanese movement Hezbollah fired around 320 projectiles from Lebanon towards Israel during Yom Kippur, the holiest day in Judaism.

During Yom Kippur, around 320 projectiles fired by the terrorist organization Hezbollah crossed the border from Lebanon towards Israel," the Israeli army said in a statement.

The holiest day of Judaism, the majority religion in Israel, is celebrated annually, and in 2024 it falls on October 12.

Israel and Hezbollah have been fighting for a year in a confrontation that recently reached another level with an intense Israeli bombing campaign against Lebanon, including the capital, Beirut, which has already caused more than 2,200 deaths and displaced 1.2 million people.
