Renato Sanches is ready to return to the pitch, after a muscle injury interrupted his (re)adaptation to Benfica, having been called up for just two matches, against Estrela da Amadora (1-0 win) and Moreirense (one-all draw).
According to Monday's edition of the newspaper A Bola, the Reds' clinical department has already given the green light for the Portuguese international to return to training under Bruno Lage at the Seixal complex this morning, so the next step will be to regain his competitive rhythm.
If everything goes according to plan, the player on loan from Paris Saint-Germain could even be used in the third qualifying round of the Portuguese Cup, against Pevidém, which is scheduled for next Saturday.
However, adds the publication, the goal of the Luz club's technical team will be to conduct this process as smoothly as possible, in order to ensure that the 27-year-old midfielder doesn't have to stop again.
