Tips to ensure that your towels never smell bad:

  • Wash your machine with bleach once a month. This helps to keep it clean and, consequently, prevent your clothes, as well as your towels, from starting to smell bad, she explains
  • Use hot water to wash your towels. Doing this "helps to prevent mold and other odors";
  • Wash your towels regularly. Make sure to change your towels and wash them "after three or four uses";
  • Use the right amount of detergent. When you use too much detergent, your clothes and towels can get dirtier and have residue build-up. "To help ensure you're always using the correct amount of detergent, I recommend using an ultra-concentrated detergent," he adds.
