Netflix has officially announced the decision to renew the 'Tomb Raider' animated series for a second season.
The eight episodes that make up the first season of 'Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft' were made available simultaneously on October 10, with Netflix already feeling confident in giving the 'green light' to more episodes.
Netflix notes in a post shared on its official blog that the first season was a “kind of origin story” for Lara Croft - who in this foray features the voice of Hayley Atwell, from 'Mission: Impossible' and 'Captain America'. The second season should further develop the character, as well as this adventurous archaeologist's team.
It now remains to wait for Netflix to provide more information about this second season of 'Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft'.
