Syko Stu Awake After Brutal Raja Jackson Attack!

Stuart Smith, known as Syko Stu, has regained consciousness and is communicating from his hospital bed following a brutal attack by Raja Jackson, son of former UFC champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, at a KnokX Pro Wrestling event on August 23, 2025, in Sun Valley, California.

The assault, captured on Jackson’s Kick livestream, showed him slamming Smith to the mat and delivering over 20 punches, leaving Smith unconscious with severe facial injuries, including broken bones and lost teeth, as reported by USA Today, TMZ, and Hindustan Times. Douglas Malo, a wrestler who intervened, told TMZ that Smith remembers parts of the day and is stable but faces a long recovery. Smith’s brother, Andrew, confirmed he has “some recollection” of the incident, per a Facebook post.

A GoFundMe launched by Smith’s wife, Contessa Patterson, has raised over $160,000 to cover medical expenses, noting his PTSD struggles as a U.S. Army veteran. The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating, but no charges against Jackson have been confirmed as of August 28, 2025.
