Bill Cobbs, The Bodyguard Actor, Dies at 90

 



Actor Bill Cobbs died last Tuesday (25) at his home in Riverside, California, in the United States. The death was confirmed by his agent, Chuck I. Jones. The cause has not yet been revealed.


The artist was 90 years old, with a career spanning more than 50 years. He began his career in entertainment in the 1970s and went on to record more than 200 credits in productions, including TV series and films.


Highlights include his participation in the feature films "The Bodyguard", starring Whitney Houston in 1992, "Night at the Museum", from 2006, and "Oz: The Wizard and the Beast", from 2013.


For his work on television, he won a Daytime Emmy for Best Limited Performance in a Daytime Program. The award came for his role in the children's series "Dino Dana".
