Mbappé Is Really Going to Have Surgery... But Not Just Yet

Mbappé's injury, sustained in the game against Austria, will force the Frenchman to undergo surgery on his nose, according to information released by Didier Deschamps this Tuesday.

The French coach, in a video shared by the French team on X, formerly Twitter, explained that some tests will be carried out on the forward next Wednesday, in order to find out how the fracture in his nose is progressing, and admitted that the operation will be carried out, even after the tournament.

"Even if it's not an immediate operation, he'll have to have it. As of Tuesday morning he was a little better, so we'll see. We'll monitor him closely every day," said the coach, who reassured the French.

It's worth remembering that, just this Tuesday, the French Football Federation stated that Mbappé's participation in Friday's match against the Netherlands is "uncertain".
