A 45-year-old woman was seriously injured after being attacked by wolves at the Thoiry ZooSafari in France on Sunday morning.
According to Le Parisien, the woman mistakenly entered an enclosure reserved for animals. The victim, a visitor to the zoo, had spent the night in one of the park's lodgings and decided to go for a morning run, ending up entering an area off-limits to visitors.
The woman found herself cornered by the animals and was attacked, suffering several serious bites.
The workers acted quickly to save the woman, who had to be rushed to hospital.
An investigation has been launched into the incident.
