Want Something Fresh To Drink? Try Apple Iced Tea



It's important to drink (even more) water during the summer to keep your body hydrated. Teas also help with this task. Do you like them? Try Taste's apple and mint iced tea recipe. It's amazing.


Ingredients:

1/4 cup chopped mint

3 peppermint tea bags

2 cups boiling water

1.25 l chilled apple juice

1 tablespoon lime juice

1 sliced apple 


Directions 

1- Fill an ice cube tray with water and add chopped mint to each hole. Place in the freezer for two hours. 

2- Meanwhile, place peppermint tea bags in a large heatproof jug and pour in the boiling water. Leave to infuse for 10 minutes. Then remove the tea bags and put the jug in the fridge until cold.

3- To serve, mix the apple juice with the cold peppermint tea. Add the lime juice. Transfer to a serving pitcher and add the mint ice cubes and some chopped apple.
