Cyclist Chris Hoy confessed, in an interview with the Sunday Times, that he was diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer and that, according to what doctors said, he has "between two and four years to live".
The Olympic champion, currently 48 years old, discovered the disease when undergoing an examination to discover the origin of pain in a work and now says that the most important thing is to "appreciate life and find joy".
"We are all born and we all die, that's part of the process. Let's remember that it's lucky that I can take medication to avoid this for as long as possible. I have genuine happiness. This is more important than the Olympics, is more important than anything", he also said in the interview in question.
Chris Hoy, it is worth noting, won six gold medals and one silver at the Olympics.
