Victor Boniface, Bayer Leverkusen striker, suffered minor injuries following a car accident on Saturday night, just hours after scoring in the victory against Eintracht Frankfurt (2-1), in the Bundesliga.
The 23-year-old Nigerian striker even shared images of his injuries on the social network Instagram, as well as the state of the car he was in, but he ended up regretting it and deleting all the images.
In addition to the photographs, which show the damage caused, the Leverkusen star also thanked God.
"God is great" and "God decided that my time has not yet come" were some of the phrases he wrote in the deleted publications.
In turn, the BILD newspaper cites a Bayer Leverkusen source assuring that the player is "fine", while also adding that it was not Boniface who was driving the car.
Despite having chosen to delete all images related to the accident, they quickly went viral and are being disseminated through social media.
