Figs are loved by many and perfect for making desserts. This is the case with this cake from Olive magazine. It is very simple to prepare.
Ingredients:
8 figs cut in half
100 grams of sugar plus 3 tablespoons
4 tablespoons of liqueur of your choice
200 grams of softened butter
4 eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
200 grams of flour
75 grams of ground almonds
1 teaspoon of baking powder
Preparation method:
1- Place the figs in a frying pan with the spoons of sugar and the liqueur. Let cook for 15 minutes. Beat the butter with the sugar. Add the eggs and mix in the vanilla, flour, almonds and baking powder.
2- Place the dough in a mold and place the figs on top. Place in the oven for one hour.
