Footage from a surveillance camera was released on Thursday, showing Francisco Wanderley Luiz approaching the Brazilian Supreme Court and detonating an explosive.
In the images, and as had already been reported, the suspect can be seen approaching a statue next to the building, where he leaves a T-shirt. A security guard is seen approaching, who noticed that he had a digital watch on his chest.
Francisco is seen walking away, but eventually ends up lying on the ground, along with one of the devices that would eventually explode and kill him.
The man had parked his car a few meters from where he died, which was also loaded with explosives. In fact, this was the first place where a bang was heard.
Francisco, 59, was the only fatality in the incident that marked the center of Brazilian politics this morning.
It should be remembered that the suicide attack was caused by family issues, as well as the political beliefs of the man, who was a supporter of Jair Bolsonaro and allegedly took part in a military coup against Lula da Silva's government in January.
