Melania Trump Refuses to Meet Jill Biden at the White House

Donald Trump's wife, Melania Trump, refused to meet with the First Lady of the United States, Jill Biden, this Wednesday, in Washington DC.

According to Sky News, the future American first lady was invited to accompany her husband to the White House, where he will meet Joe Biden. However, according to his office, "he will not be present at the meeting."

"Mrs. Trump will not be present at today's meeting at the White House. Her husband's return to the Oval Office to begin the transition process is encouraging and she wishes him every success," reads a statement from Melania Trump's Office on social network X.

"In this case, multiple anonymous media sources continue to provide false, misleading and inaccurate information. Please be judicious with your news source," the note added.

According to CNN International, which cites a White House source, in light of her absence, Jill Biden "delivered a handwritten letter of congratulations to Mrs. Trump, who also expressed her team's availability to help with the transition."

It should be noted that in 2016, when Trump was first elected to the presidency of the United States, Melania visited the White House and had tea in the Yellow Oval Office with the then first lady, Michelle Obama.

US President Joe Biden will receive Donald Trump this Wednesday in the Oval Office of the White House.

Last week, Joe Biden promised to ensure a "peaceful and orderly" transfer of power with the Republican, who won a clear victory against Democrat Kamala Harris.
