Members Of 'Marvel Rivals' Production Company Arrested On Suspicion Of Corruption

Two executives from NetEase Games - the Chinese production company responsible for 'Marvel Rivals' and 'Diablo Immortal' - have been arrested on suspicion of corruption, with charges of bribery and money laundering.

In addition to these two executives, Bloomberg Law says that seven other NetEase Games employees have been arrested. The authorities believe that the amount involved in this corruption scheme could be equivalent to 130 million euros.

At the moment NetEase has only confirmed that the police investigation is ongoing, noting that it will stop working with 27 companies accused of fraud and corruption as part of this case.
