Grindr, the popular dating app for gays, bisexuals and trans people, has released its highly anticipated annual retrospective, revealing the highlights and trends among its millions of users around the world.
Among the highlights of the retrospective, Charli XCX shone when she was elected “Ally of the Year” and “Mother of the Year”, reaffirming her role in supporting the LGBTQ+ community. In addition, her album “BRAT” was crowned as the album of the year.
Another figure celebrated by Grindr users was actor Pedro Pascal, who received the title of “sexiest man of the year”.
Brazil in the top 5
Brazil also stood out in the retrospective, appearing in the Top 5 of countries with the most “bottoms” and “twinks”, two of the most popular terms on the app. The Tribe with the most followers around the world continues to be “Discreet” and SWEAT, by Charli XCX and Troye Sivan, was elected tour of the year.
