Belarusian tennis player Aryna Sabalenka, winner of the last two editions, qualified today for the final of the Australian Open, the first Grand Slam tournament of the season, after beating Spaniard Paula Badosa.
Aryna Sabalenka, world number one, needed one hour and 26 minutes to beat Paula Badosa, 12th and who was in the semi-finals of a major for the first time, 6-4 and 6-2.
In her third consecutive final in Melbourne, Sabalenka, who won the US Open in 2024, will face either Poland's Iga Swiatek, ranked second in the world, or American Madison Keys, ranked 14th, who face each other today.
