Borussia Dortmund are still in the market looking for a coach to replace Nuri Sahin, but have been denied again. Roger Schmidt turned down the offer to return to active duty at the German club. The information was released this Thursday by Sky Germany.
According to the same source, the German coach, who in recent weeks has been linked with RB Leipzig, West Ham or Besiktas, is not willing to accept a new challenge at the moment and only intends to return to action next season.
Roger Schmidt, 57, has been without a club since leaving Benfica in September last year. With the Eagles, the German won the I League in 2022/23.
