At least six people have died after a submarine sank off the coast of the Egyptian city of Hurghada in the Red Sea in the early hours of Thursday.
According to local newspaper Al Masry Al Youm, nine people were also injured, including four in serious condition, who were taken to nearby hospitals.
The vessel had around 40 passengers on board and 29 people were rescued.
The submarine 'Sinbad', which has been operating in the tourist city of Hurghada "for several years", was transporting tourists for an underwater tour of coral reefs when it sank.
The cause of the sinking is not yet known, Al Masry Al Youm reports.
Egypt's emergency services have been put on "maximum alert" and 21 ambulances have been mobilised to the scene.
