"It Was Chaos": Crocodile Breaks into US Home Balcony

An alligator entered the porch of a couple's house in Louisiana, United States, late last Wednesday.

According to television station WAFB-9, the couple, Bobby and Susan MacKenzie, were at home when they heard a noise.

"I heard a scratching noise and I thought it was inside the house, right behind me. I went outside and saw a screen had been ripped off," Bobby began, revealing that he then decided to walk to the porch.

He continued: "I climbed to the edge of the balcony and could see the crocodile's tail. I ran inside and saw him through the window."

The couple then decided to call the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office and also called a friend who raises alligators.

"It was chaos. The chairs were all knocked over. The crocodile had a pillow in its mouth," Susan said, adding that the animal got tired "very quickly" and that she was surprised.

The animal was captured and then taken to a river.
