Kyiv's Air Force said today that Russia fired 131 combat drones overnight at Ukraine, causing three injuries in the northeast of the country.
The Russian attack caused damage in the regions of Sumy, Donetsk, Kyiv, Zhytomyr and Kharkov (northeastern Ukraine), where three people were injured.
According to the same source, Russian forces also launched unmanned but unarmed aerial vehicles that serve to deceive Ukraine's defense systems.
Kyiv reported today that 57 combat drones were shot down by Ukrainian anti-aircraft defenses in several regions.
In Russia, the Foreign Ministry accused Ukraine of launching 66 armed drones overnight.
The same note, shared on social media, says that 41 of the drones destroyed during the night were shot down over the Russian region of Bryansk, which borders Ukraine.
Another 24 drones were shot down over the territory of the Kaluga region, more than 120 kilometers from the closest point to the Ukrainian border.
On Sunday, the Russian military command claimed responsibility for the attack by units of the Russian Northern military grouping on the Ukrainian villages of Gornal, Guevo and Oleshnia, the first two in the Kursk region and the last in the Sumi area.
