On December 12 at the Planet Fitness in Little Havana, Miami, 35-year-old member Kiara Bryant yelled loudly until an employee asked her to quiet down or face a police call. She charged aggressively, jumped the counter after a defensive push, and struck him repeatedly, as captured on cellphone video, before storming out and clashing with bystanders. Police arrested her for battery and disorderly conduct; she admitted the aggression and was released on $150 bond, while the injured employee suffered a broken nose and emotional distress. Planet Fitness banned her and stressed zero tolerance for violence.
