On October 9, 2026, in Pinetown, South Africa, armed men blocked the father's bakkie as he left his gated home with his two children, with one holding a gun to his son's head and another shooting at him. The father drew his firearm, killed one attacker on the spot, and wounded two others who fled and later died. His son helped get his sister out of the vehicle afterward.
Police are investigating attempted murder, carjacking, and the deaths, while many praised the father's protective actions amid South Africa's ongoing carjacking crisis.
Look at how he covers his daughter. Fucking legend.
