Yesterday I had a traumatic night, when at around 7:30pm I was attacked by strange individuals with a clear mission to murder me. There were four of these individuals, two of whom stayed inside the car and two of whom hit me with a chamboco on the head and a hammer on the heel of my foot.
The criminals were in a new white South African double-cabin car. According to one of the Assistant Pastors who was with me, he noticed that the car had already been following us.
I had a few stitches from the hammering on my heel, but they were minor injuries. I reported the case at the police station and was taken to Mavalane General Hospital where I was treated, and at the moment I'm fine apart from the trauma and minor pain.
I would like to thank all the Mozambican people for their affection, Venâncio Mondlane and Theo-philosopher José Massango who were with me until the early hours of the morning in hospital and left me at home, the politicians, especially President Lutero Simango of the MDM for his concern, Ivan Mazanga of Renamo and many others who tried to get in touch with me, the analysts like Edson Massingue and the others who showed solidarity with me, all the leaders and/or pastors who showed solidarity and the press, especially Tv Sucesso, Tv Ação, Gungu Televisão, Fred Jossias Show TTV and others for their concern and for reporting what happened.
If God let me escape alive, it's because the mission has not yet been fully accomplished. Mozambicans, let's use each other and fight for our homeland. United we are stronger and we will win no matter how big or small the obstacle.
