From the data from around 2,000 polling stations already processed, the ANC has more than 249,000 votes, corresponding to 41.77 percent, in the election for the National Assembly.
The Democratic Alliance has more than 164,000 votes, the Economic Freedom Fighters Party has more than 46,000 and Umkhoto Wesizwe has more than 44,000 votes.
In the Regional and Provincial Assembly elections, the ANC has more votes in the Eastern Cape, Free State, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, North West and Northern Cape provinces.
The Democratic Alliance leads the count in the provinces of Gauteng and the Western Cape.
Umkhoto WeSizwe has the most votes in Kwazulu-Natal province. (RM Johannesburg)
