Xiaomi Increases Production Pace. The Secret Is In The Batteries

Xiaomi wanted to speed up the production process of its first electric vehicle, the SU7. To this end, the Chinese manufacturer has revealed that it has reached an agreement with CATL and BYD, two of the leading battery suppliers in the sector, to equip its batteries in the most basic version of the SU7.

In this way, Xiaomi will be able to speed up production and deliveries of vehicles to customers who have already reserved the SU7.

Both batteries offer around 700 km of range on the CLTC cycle (China) and support fast charging. They can charge to 350 km in just 15 minutes.

According to Xiaomi, the choice of one battery or the other will not affect the performance or range of any SU7.

It seems that the Chinese technology company should be able to increase its number of deliveries to more than 10,000 units per month.
