Boeing's Starliner Astronauts Tour the Spaceship and Show Routines

Astronauts Butch Wilmore, 61, and Suni Williams, 58, showed the inside of Boeing's Starliner spacecraft this Saturday, the 8th, in a live stream on Nasa's YouTube channel.

The vehicle was launched with the two crew members on Wednesday 5th and arrived at the International Space Station (ISS) on Thursday 6th. In the video, the travelers show the panel and the occupations of the rocket that will be docked in orbit for a week.

"Today is Saturday, so as you can see, we have a vacuum cleaner here. Like most people clean their houses, we have to clean the spacecraft,” Wilmore said, showing the cleaning tools used.

In the video, Suni Williams also reports on the tests the astronauts carried out during their first days in space, when they took manual control of the spacecraft as they approached the ISS. "It's all been fantastic.

It's been a positive event from start to finish,” commented Wilmore.

Boeing's first manned flight aims to validate the transportation system, launch pad, rocket, spacecraft, orbital operations capabilities and the return to Earth with passengers on board.

Known as the Crew Flight Test, the Starliner represents the culmination of the company's efforts to develop a vehicle capable of rivaling SpaceX's Crew Dragon capsule and expanding the United States' options for taking astronauts to the International Space Station under NASA's Commercial Crew Program.
