Cercle Brugge announced, in a statement issued via their official platforms early on Thursday afternoon, that they have activated the purchase option clause in Nazinho's loan deal with Sporting.
The Portuguese Under-20 international signed a contract valid until June 2028 with the Belgian club, following a season in which he scored one goal in 23 official matches and earned the Alvalade club a financial return of around two million euros.
"I'm very happy to be staying at Cercle Brugge. With the same ambition and energy, I'm really looking forward to getting started. I'll continue to give everything, because they helped me become more of a man last season," he said.
For his part, technical director Rembert Vromant was convinced that the left-back "has the potential to take Cercle Brugge to the next level with his speed, excellent mentality and versatility".
