Kazuyoshi Miura is not wasting any time and, just a few hours after quitting his job at Oliveirense, the club he played for for around a year and a half, he has already taken on a new challenge at the age of 57.
The world's oldest player will continue his career at Atletico Sukuza Club, a club founded in 2014 that plays in the fourth tier of Japanese soccer, as he announced in a statement shared on his official platforms.
"Thank you very much for your continued support of Atletico Sukuza Club. We are happy to announce that Kazuyoshi Miura will be joining the team on loan from Yokohama FC," the statement read.
The striker returns home after spells with Tokyo Verdy, Kyoto Sanga, Vissel Kobe and Yokohama FC, with whom he has a contract.
