Israeli Forces Carried Out Attacks Against 35 Targets in Gaza

The Israeli Army attacked 35 objectives in the Gaza Strip in the last few hours, with the military announcing the death of Muhamad Abu Seidu, an alleged member of Nukhba, a Hamas cell, involved in the October 7, 2023 operation.

An official Israeli statement indicates that the "Air Force attacked approximately 35 objectives throughout the Gaza Strip", including military structures and installations used "by terrorists".

The same document states that on Sunday Israeli forces "eliminated several terrorists" in the center of the enclave where an air strike destroyed a missile launch ramp that was pointed towards Israeli territory.

In Rafah, south of Gaza, Israeli soldiers claim the elimination of "dozens of terrorists in hand-to-hand combat" including Muhamad Abu Seidu who, allegedly, "participated in the invasion of Israel on October 7, 2023 and who directed multiple attacks against troops".

On Sunday, two Palestinians died and "several were injured" following bombings against Rafah.

In Beit Lahia, in the north of the enclave, another Palestinian citizen died "and others were injured" by artillery fire that hit a residence near a mosque, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported today.

The sources cited by Wafa also state that three civilians, including two children, died in an Israeli air strike against Khan Yunis, in the south of the Gaza Strip.

Today, the Israeli Army ordered the evacuation of several areas adjacent to Khan Yunis, particularly in Al Mawasi where thousands of displaced people are located.

Israel said that an "offensive against militia members is imminent" in the Al Mawasi area, at the same time that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is paying a visit to the United States, the Israeli government's main ally.

The war began on October 7 last year after the Hamas attack against Israel that left 1,200 dead and 251 kidnapped.

Israel's offensive is devastating the Gaza Strip and has so far killed 39,000 people, most of them civilians, according to local authorities controlled by Hamas.
