Police continue to investigate the deaths of three women in the United Kingdom to understand the contours of the crime that shocked the community of Ashlyn Close.
The first data leads the police to believe that the suspect held Louise, Hannah and Carol hostage for several hours, before killing them with a crossbow.
Police say Kyle Clifford arrived in the area seven hours before the crime.
The police are analyzing video surveillance images from local houses and doorbells to create a chronology of the crime.
Neighbors who captured the suspect's movements through their doorbell cameras said he was initially seen carrying only a dark bag, with no crossbow in sight, probably to catch his victims by surprise. This suggests that the killer may have had time to assemble the weapon at the scene of the crime, after having subdued his victims, who were bound and gagged in an extraordinarily planned attack, writes the Daily Mail.
The victims were found with ligature marks around their wrists and faces and signs of injuries to their knees.
Homicide and victim maintained an abusive relationship
Remember that Kyle Clifford was the ex-boyfriend of one of the victims, 25-year-old Louise Hunt. Family and friends revealed that, for around six months, the young woman was subject to a controlling relationship.
Although he seemed like "a good guy", Kyle Clifford prevented the young woman from putting on makeup, going out late and having male friends.
The two had recently ended their relationship, a situation that had left Louise nervous and anxious. However, there was no indication that he had feared being the target of such an attack.
The three women, remember, were killed in the house where they lived late Wednesday afternoon. The suspect was found, the following day, at Lavender Hill cemetery in Enfield, north of London, in the United Kingdom, following a large manhunt - he is in a serious condition and has not yet been questioned by the police.
