The president and CEO of Max (formerly HBO), Casey Bloys, announced during this week's presentation that the second season of 'The Last of Us' will premiere sooner than fans expected.
The website IGN says that the second season of the series, which is an adaptation of the PlayStation video game 'franchise', will be released in the spring of 2025. It is known that Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey are back to play the protagonists Joel and Ellie.
Also remembering that the second season of 'The Last of Us' will be an adaptation of 'The Last of Us Part II', originally released in 2020 for the PlayStation 4 and which in the meantime was also entitled to a remastered version for the PlayStation 5 .
