Woman Arrested By PSP In Braga For Displaying Knife On Public Road

A woman was arrested at the weekend by the Public Security Police (PSP) for displaying a knife on the public highway in Braga.

According to a statement sent to newsrooms on Monday, the PSP received a phone call informing them that the woman "had a knife in her possession and was displaying it on the public highway". 

The officers immediately went to the scene and arrested the woman. The knife was seized. 

The woman was summoned to appear before the Braga Judicial Court.

"With this action, the PSP Braga Command believes it has managed to restore the social tranquility that this situation caused in the city," reads the statement.
