A 27-year-old British man has been missing since 26 July, the day he was due to return home from Thailand.
According to Sky News, the search for Simon Robinson is centred on Finland, as the young man was last seen shortly before boarding a flight from Bangkok to Helsinki. He was then due to take a connecting flight from the Finnish capital to Manchester.
Sarah Robinson Dale, the missing man's sister, said that it had been confirmed that the young man had taken the flight from Thailand, but had not taken the second flight back to the UK. His mobile phone has since been switched off.
Simon, from Skegness in Lincolnshire, has not contacted any family or friends and was due to finish his holiday on 3 August. However, he had already phoned his girlfriend to say he was going home early.
The family has already set up a social media page to help in the search for the young man.
