Elon Musk's X To Be Taken To Court In Ireland

The Irish regulator was not happy that the company was using user data to train its own AI.

Ireland's Data Protection Commission has decided to take Elon Musk's X to court, accusing the company of using the private data of European citizens to train the company's Artificial Intelligence - known as Grok.

RTE says that X is using users' private data without notifying them, an obligation under the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation.

According to this legislation, any proven violation can result in fines of up to 4 per cent of the company's annual revenue.
