Fans React To €20 Tickets To See Coldplay In The UK

The band has announced that they will have a "limited number" of affordable tickets so that everyone has the opportunity to attend the concerts.

While several promoters are increasingly advertising higher prices in the live music industry, Coldplay seem to be going in the opposite direction.

On Tuesday, September 17, the band announced six concerts for next summer in the United Kingdom, as an extension of their Music Of The Spheres World Tour.

The news was received with enthusiasm by fans, who expressed their support on social media, especially due to one detail.

The shows will be available for just 20 euros. In a statement, quoted by the Daily Mail, the group announced that these concerts will have a "limited number" of tickets that will "cost the equivalent of £20 / $20 / €20 per ticket, and must be purchased in pairs".

These tickets "will be allocated randomly, from the last row, to the best seat in the room".

"Coldplay releasing a number of £20 tickets for their UK shows just proves that bands have the option of making their shows more accessible," reads a fan post on the X platform.
