Does Temu Sell Real Croissants And Starfish? Internet Users Report

Situations were shared on clients' TikTok pages.

A woman shared on TikTok the shocking discovery she made after making an online purchase.

Kelly Kaye purchased a starfish-shaped curtain hook on the Temu platform.

However, when he received the order he noticed that it smelled a lot like seafood. Later, when one of the animal's arms broke, she couldn't believe her eyes: the star was real.

The video was shared on social media and Temu has already reacted by stating that it cannot confirm "whether the product in question was purchased on its platform, as similar items are available on several online platforms".

The controversy, however, adds to another similar complaint, involving the same shopping platform.

Before Kelly, another internet user had reported a similar situation, in this case with a croissant.

According to her, her sister had given her a light in the shape of a croissant. However, what was his surprise when one day he realized that his house had been invaded by ants, who would not let go of the croissant.

"I'm wondering if this will be a real croissant, encased in resin...", he shared.

The woman would break the cake in half, proving that the inside contained real crumbs.
