Hezbollah Threatens Israel With New Attacks

Lebanese Hezbollah threatened Israel with new attacks on Wednesday if its offensive in Lebanon continues, after a drone strike on a military position south of Haifa killed four Israeli soldiers.

It was the deadliest attack on Israeli soil since the Lebanese Shiite armed movement and Israel went to war on September 23.

In a statement, Hezbollah, backed by Iran and allied with Palestinian Hamas, "promised the enemy" that the attack "south of Haifa is just a taste of what awaits them if they decide to continue their aggression".

The Israeli army said four soldiers were killed and seven wounded at a Golani brigade training camp in Binyamina, south of Haifa, a large city in northern Israel.

According to United Hatzalah, a volunteer rescue organization, the attack injured more than 60 people.
