Now it's official: Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez, Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets will actually compete in the next edition of the Club World Cup for Inter Miami, according to confirmation made by FIFA, this Sunday.
The North American emblem secured the penultimate place to enter the competition by winning the MLS Supporters' Shield, which, according to the organization, confirms that it was the "best team of the 2024 Major League Soccer (MLS) regular season".
The same statement also states that Inter Miami will be one of the teams to open the competition, playing in the role of host, as the first meeting will be played in Miami, in the United States.
