Nvidia will discontinue the RTX 4090, its most popular and powerful graphics card, in the coming months.
The information is provided by the Videocardz platform, which says that manufacturers should receive the last components this month, and it is estimated that the card will not go on sale until November of this year. Forbes magazine also warned on September 22 that stock shortages are expected for this graphics card, which was launched two years ago.
The RTX 4080 Super is also due to be discontinued this month and is expected to run out of stock in November.
The same platform regrets, however, that no price cuts are planned for this graphics card, despite the discontinuation.
In the coming months, the new RTX 5090 and 5080 graphics cards are expected to be launched, products on which the US giant will be focusing mainly with a view to the 2025 edition of CES, the world's largest conference in the technology sector.
