Unlike other major tech companies that have been ordering employees to return to the office, Spotify has already said it has no plans to abandon its remote work model anytime soon.
“You can’t spend a lot of time hiring adults and then treating them like children,” said Katarina Berg, head of HR at the Swedish company, according to TechRadar.
Berg noted that Spotify relies on its employees to stay productive, noting that the company has not felt any impact from the decision to let employees work remotely.
However, it is worth noting that Spotify maintains offices around the world and continues to encourage employees to come in on certain weeks to discuss strategy.
