Woman Arrested Suspected of Butchering and Cooking Her Mother's Body Parts

A 32-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of killing, dismembering and cooking her own mother's body parts in Robertson County, Kentucky, in the United States. The case happened last Wednesday (9).

The crime was only discovered after a worker hired to clean up the yard at the house found the remains on the ground. The man believed it might be the housewife's and called the police.

A team from the Kentucky State Police went to the back of the house and found the corpse in pieces. In addition, two bloodstained mattresses were also found. However, when they tried to enter the house, a woman appeared at the window and said she would only open the door with a search warrant.

On the same day, at around 11pm, a team specializing in crisis management went to the house and managed to enter without confronting the resident. At the scene, the owner, identified as Torilena Fields, was covered in blood and threatening people.

What caught the police's attention was that in the kitchen of the house there was a pot with pieces of the body being cooked in water. According to the authorities, the dismembered corpse belonged to Torilena's mother.

The woman was arrested red-handed on charges of obstructing police action, tampering with physical evidence and abusing a corpse. She must also answer for the death of her family member, as the case is still under investigation. The motive for the crime is not known.
