Anitta has been nominated for the Grammy Awards, the most important international music awards ceremony, which will take place in Los Angeles on February 2, 2025. The singer is competing in the category “Best Latin Pop Album” with “Funk Generation”, her sixth studio album, released in April 2024.
“Funk Generation” becomes the first Brazilian funk album to be nominated for an International Grammy, marking the history of Brazilian popular music. This is the second time that Anitta has been nominated for a Grammy. Last year, the singer was nominated for the “Best New Artist” category for the first time.
Next week, Anitta will be present at another Grammy, this time the Latin Grammy. The singer is nominated in the “Record of the Year” category with “Mil Vezes”. The award will take place on November 14 in Miami.
