Jonathan Valle, a former player who, throughout his career, spent time at clubs such as Málaga, Racing Santander or Rubin Kazan, was arrested as part of an operation against drug trafficking, as reported this Friday by the newspaper Spanish El Diario Montañés.
The action, called 'Operation Fire', took place in the home of the 39-year-old former attacker himself, and resulted in the seizure of not only 3,500 portions of drugs valued at R$250,000, but also a firearm, a vehicle , 14 bladed weapons, almost 27,000 euros in banknotes, 14 cell phones and 18 watches.
In addition to Jonathan Valle (who ended up being placed on probation while waiting to be brought to trial), ten other people were arrested, suspected of being involved in this scheme.
The same publication adds that, given this outcome, authorities in the neighboring country believe they have dismantled one of the largest criminal organizations in Cantabria, an autonomous community located in the north of the country.
