There were several celebrities who, in the months before the US presidential elections, said they would leave the US if Donald Trump were elected.
In recent months, several famous people have announced that if Donald Trump wins the US presidential election, they will move from the US to the UK.
Now that the Republican candidate is preparing to return to the presidency of the country, the list has expanded.
Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Australian actress Portia de Rossi, for example, appear to have just moved to the Cotswolds, a region in southwest England.
According to the website TMZ, the last straw for this decision was Donald Trump's victory.
Actress America Ferrera, on the other hand, also seems to be preparing to change home and country.
"America [Ferrera] is disgusted that Donald Trump is president again. She is devastated that Kamala lost. She thought the country she lives in was better than this," a source close to DailyMail revealed.
The actress will reportedly move to the UK with her husband, Ryan Piers Williams, and children, Sebastian and Lucia.
Actress Minnie Driver, who returned to the United Kingdom after almost three decades living in Los Angeles, also revealed, in July, to the Times of London that, if Trump won the elections, she would not return to the USA, at least to live.
Sophie Turner, on the other hand, told Harper's Bazaar last month that she realized she needed to leave the United States quickly due to gun violence and the repeal of Roe v. Wade. Wade' (the process that granted the federal, universal right to abortion nationwide in 1973).
Actresses Eva Longoria and Sharon Stone are also moving for the same reason. According to the international press, Longoria and her family are already dividing their time between Spain and Mexico, while Stone is in the process of buying a house in Italy.
