Pedro Pablo Perlaza was rescued alive on Wednesday night, by the National Police of Ecuador, after being kidnapped for three days, says Infobae.
The 33-year-old defender, who plays for Delfín SC, was kidnapped in the city of Atacames, in northern Ecuador, along with a friend, and both were found by authorities with signs of "ill-treatment" and barefoot.
On social media, as you can see below, images are circulating that show Perlaza and his friend at the moment they were rescued.
Pedro Pablo Perlaza, it is worth noting, played in Ecuador throughout his career, having played for clubs such as Barcelona SC and Independiente del Valle, among others.
